Practitioner Profile
My interest in food and nutrition started when I was at school and discovered the important role that nutrients play in keeping us fit and well. However, it was not until years later when I was diagnosed with M.E/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, that I really began to investigate the role food, supplements and herbs play in restoring the body to good health. I also realised the impact stress has on the body and how lifestyle choices and environmental factors can affect our well-being.
Having made a slow but steady recovery, I decided to develop my interest further. I trained as a Nutritional Therapist for 3 years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, studying anatomy & physiology, conventional medicine, herbal medicine, bio-chemical pathways and all aspects of nutrition. I also gained clinical experience, dealing with a variety of health problems.
I currently practise from The Cottage Therapy Centre in Kenilworth and The Traditional Acupuncture Centre, in Leamington Spa. My wish is to share my knowledge and experience to help others to maximise their health & wellbeing potential.
